09.11.10 Julie Floersch and I recently completed a monumental quilted and hand embroidered portrait for up-and-coming Danish musician, Oh Land, who will be releasing her new album with Sony Epic in the coming months. The portrait (in the image below) will be on display 9/23-10/15 in Upcycle, an exhibition curated by Jade Ariella Lien as a part of Expo 33 and Open Doors 2010 in Newark, NY. 08.06.10 Images of my piece, Re Treat, while it was still a work in progress, can now be seen on the 10/2/10 website. 10/2/10 is a Berlin based Curatorial Collective dedicated to testing the definitions of the temporary exhibition. 07.08.10 I will have a painting in the upcoming Cool and Collected show at Kenise Barnes Fine Art in Larchmont, New York. The exhibition is focused on emerging artists based in Brooklyn and runs from July 29 through September 15. The opening will be from 6:30-8:30 on July 29. 04.09.10 I am pleased to announce that I will be one of the artists donating a
work for the Kentucky Derby Art Auction and Benefit at Smackmellon
Gallery this year! I participated in this amazing event two years ago
and am so excited to have been asked back. A $250 ticket guarantees
you to go home with an artwork and admits you plus one guest. First
choice of artworks goes to those guests who bet on the winning horses
in the race, which is screened in the gallery. For more information

03.08.10 This Sunday, March 14th, I will be participating in the first ArtBus
New York tour. One Sunday a month, ArtBus will bring patrons,
curators, press, collectors and art lovers to non-profit spaces,
artist’s studios, private residences and galleries. It was a huge
success in London last year, and I am very excited to be one of the
four first artists involved in New York. This Sunday, the bus will
also be visiting the studios of Lauren Seiden, Dustin Yellin and Ryan
