For more about the show see below: ![]() 09.11.10 Julie Floersch and I recently completed a monumental quilted and hand embroidered portrait for up-and-coming Danish musician, Oh Land, who will be releasing her new album with Sony Epic in the coming months. The portrait (in the image below) will be on display 9/23-10/15 in Upcycle, an exhibition curated by Jade Ariella Lien as a part of Expo 33 and Open Doors 2010 in Newark, NY. And check out http://cream-nyc.com/blog/ to see photographer Adria Bredemann shooting me on Wall Street. 08.06.10 Images of my piece, Re Treat, while it was still a work in progress, can now be seen on the 10/2/10 website. 10/2/10 is a Berlin based Curatorial Collective dedicated to testing the definitions of the temporary exhibition. They recently included me in Exhibition IV, a show focused on art documentation and images of unfinished artworks. The exhibition is focused on emerging artists based in Brooklyn and runs from July 29 through September 15. The opening will be from 6:30-8:30 on July 29. One Sunday a month, ArtBus will bring patrons, curators, press, collectors and art lovers to non-profit spaces, artist’s studios, private residences and galleries. It was a huge success in London last year, and I am very excited to be one of the four first artists involved in New York. This Sunday, the bus will also be visiting the studios of Lauren Seiden, Dustin Yellin and Ryan Metke.
